Automation applications and production lines
IAI products can be easily connected to automation applications and integrated into production lines in all industries.
The controllers can be connected not only to the PLC and via the parallel interface, but also to fieldbuses such as Profinet, Profibus, CC-Link, DeviceNet, EtherCat, EtherNet, Modbus and others.
Also they can be connected directly to the touch panel, enabling not only setting for tool changing, but also using as a teaching pendant and monitoring the operating status.
The following application examples of Cartesian robots, table-top robots and SCARA robots are only a small selection of many possible applications.
Bending claws for speaker cover
The TTA Tabletop robot is used to bend the claws of vehicle loudspeaker covers.
Coating and sealing
TTA Tabletop robot is used to apply a coating to seal specific areas.
Inspection of a touch panel display
Checking the deviation between the touch position and the reaction position of a touch panel display with a stylus.
Cartesian 6-axis robot CRS (YouTube)
Cartesian CRS 6-axis robot with slider types, rod types, rotary drives, wrist unit and grippers.
Pick & Place
A Cartesian robot with Y- and Z-axis is used to take parts from a feeder belt, place them in the processing line and put them on an outfeed belt after processing.
Deburring and testing workpieces
The NS series orthogonal multi-slider robot is used for deburring machine parts.
One of the two Y-axes is used to deburr the parts while the second axis is equipped with a camera to check if the deburring was successful.
Anti-vibration rubber cutter
The process of cutting anti-vibration rubber for vehicles to specific dimensions.
Ultrasonic welding unit
A SCARA robot is used for ultrasonic welding of thermoplastics. Mechanical vibrations in the plastic generate frictional heat, which causes the plastic to soften and begin to melt.
