Automation applications in production lines
Actuators from IAI can be easily integrated into production lines in all industries.
The controllers can be connected to the higher-level controller via digital I/Os or via fieldbus systems such as Profinet, Profibus, CC-Link, DeviceNet, EtherCat, EtherNet, Modbus and many more.
The following application examples of Cartesian robots, table-top robots and SCARA robots are only a small selection of many possible applications.

Deburring and testing workpieces
The NS series orthogonal multi-slider robot is used for deburring machine parts.

Ultrasonic welding unit
A SCARA robot is used for ultrasonic welding of thermoplastics. Mechanical vibrations in the plastic generate frictional heat, which causes the plastic to soften and begin to melt.
