RoboCylinder: Why is the home position in the center of the axis after homing, ie it does not travel to the desired end position?
If no other part is in the way and therefore the axis is referenced in the wrong place, the linear unit is either overloaded or the mechanics stiff. During homing, the unit is moved with a limited current, which in this case is not sufficient to drive the linear unit to the mechanical end.
To remedy this, the maximum allowable load must be checked and, if necessary, reduced, or the mechanism checked and possibly replaced. In any case, it must be ensured that the axis can move freely up to the desired end position.
