RoboCylinder & IntelligentActuator slider type actuators
Electric cylinder in slider type design for precise horizontal or vertical transport and positioning of workpieces.
RoboCylinder slider type actuators cover many common performance requirements. Higher payloads, speeds, acceleration and precision are offered by the actuators from the IntelligentActuators series.
The product range also includes extra wide slider types with increased bending stiffness in the base frame, or actuators with independently controllable double slides.
Linear actuators of the RCP6 and RCS4 series feature greatly increased mechanical stability as well as improved positioning accuracy of ± 5 µm.
The built-in linear recirculating ball designs absorb the radial loads and load torques. This effectively suppresses vibrations when stopping. A collision detection function has also been incorporated into this new series.
RCP6-WSA / RCS4-WSA: Wide slider type actuators
The wide RCP6 and RCS4 slider types absorb even higher moments in the directions of deflection and torsion in their base frame. These mechanical advantages come into play especially with larger overhangs, such as Cartesian systems and large superstructures.
The IntelligentActuator ISB series is based on compact, rectangular aluminium profiles. The linear drives with 230 V servo motor travel at a speed of 2.5 m/s and accelerate with a maximum permissible 1.2 G. The repeat accuracy is ± 5 µm. The repeat accuracy is ± 5 µm, the maximum payload is 400 kg.
All ISB slider type actuators can be optionally configured with a brake, ball chain system, creep sensor, limit switch and much more.
Long fast ISB actuators
ISB slider type actuators with a stroke length of up to 3,000 mm are equipped with a newly developed intermediate support where no speed drop occurs.
In addition, maintenance has been simplified. Grease lubrication can be done from both sides of the carriage without removing the main cover or other parts mounted on the carriage.
While most electric linear actuators are made of aluminium, the SSPA series has an integrated design with a highly rigid steel profile. This gives it significantly higher rigidity than comparable slider type actuators.
Similar to the other linear cylinders with ball screws, the ground raceways of the guide lie on the inner surfaces of the U-shaped steel frame profile. The compact design of the SSPA slider types serves the high load capacity and bending strength of these linear actuators.

IntelligentActuator: NSA Rotation Nut Type Actuators
NSA linear actuators are equipped with a servo motor and battery-free absolute encoder integrated in the slider. Instead of moving the slider by a rotating ball screw, it is driven by a rotating nut by means of a servo motor integrated in it. Since the ball screw does not rotate, it is capable of high-speed movement with long strokes up to 3,000 mm without being affected by resonance, shortening the cycle time.
In addition, the precision is higher for long travels, as no vibrations are caused as with a rotating spindle. With a repeatability of ±0.01mm and a maximum speed of 2,500 mm/s, horizontal loads of up to 60 kg, and at 1,300 mm/s up to 120 kg, are possible.
For complex single-axis applications, double and multiple slider versions are available, whereby all slides can be controlled independently of each other.
