Production in cleanrooms

IAI actuators in cleanroom design are frequently used in the electronics and semiconductor industry, photovoltaic production and medical technology.
Due to constantly growing requirements and new legal regulations, they are also increasingly used in other production areas where dust or dirt particles are to be avoided.
Stainless steel dust protection band
All IAI cleanroom products are classified in ISO cleanroom classes for the maximum permissible particle concentration per m³ of air.
With a stainless steel dust protection band, the actuators are sealed and ISO cleanroom compliance is achieved by drawing the air inside the enclosure. Furthermore, the sealed construction also allows the unit to be used, for example, in vertical and horizontal directions (in lateral position), i.e. in the mounting forms that were previously only possible to a limited extent.
Cleanroom-compatible linear actuators, grippers and SCARA robots
Depending on the workpiece size or the installation area, there are mini rod types, slider types, rotary drives, torque motors and grippers in many sizes for the cleanroom. And more are being added all the time. In the case of mini rod types with 24 V and 230 V servo motors alone, five series have been added with cleanroom design in 3 sizes each, which corresponds to a total of 15 new models.
Cartesian robots according to clean room specifications are available on customer request too. request. If high-speed transport of small parts is required, a SCARA robot suitable for the cleanroom can also be used.

High speed and maximum loads
Even for applications with short cycle times, customer-specific requirements can be met by high-speed movement up to max. 2,500 mm/sec and an acceleration of 1 g with the ISDACR/ISPDACR series.
The ISDACR series is also suitable for transporting heavy parts. Loads of up to 150 kg horizontally and 60 kg vertically are possible at a speed of 500 mm/sec and an acceleration of 0.3 g.
